How to create a bootable CD for older BIOS not supporting USB booting?

When encountering a BIOS that does not offer to boot from the connected USB Collection Key, you will need to use a bootable CD with a boot manager.

To create it, you need:

  • a blank CD
  • a CD writer
  • Windows 10
  • Then go to C:\ProgramData\ADF Solutions Inc\v4\BootCD and right click on the plpbt.iso file to select the "Burn disc image" option after inserting the blank CD in your CD writer

To boot the target computer, you can now insert the bootable CD, access the BIOS Setup and select the option to boot from a CD.

After the Plop Boot Manager starts, connect your Collection Key and select the USB option. The computer will now reboot from the Collection Key.
